Position Details

  • Full Time, Permanent Position
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 5 with a salary range of $100,875 - $105,439 per annum + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: Step Thru Care, Geelong Otway Victoria

About your new role

The Operational Support Lead works closely with Service leaders in the management, and oversight of program administrative, operations and corporate support services to meet the needs of the local community and provide high quality services to consumers.

The role manages and oversees day-to-day operations and responsibilities of administrative staff for the program to run smoothly and remain focused on high quality services including operational support, data management, stakeholder engagement and administrative functions.

What you will bring to the role

  • Formal tertiary qualification in a related field and/or equivalent experience working in a relevant setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and empower team members.
  • Strong emotional resilience including the ability to sit with discomfort, distress and people in crisis.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to prioritise multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Proven high level administration, reporting and time management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of database management.
  • Strong computer literacy andwritten communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a health-related industry.
  • Previous experience in a relevant leadership position.
